Timberline High School's yearbook has been named "Cairn" since its inaugural volume in 1970-71. Students on the first yearbook staff chose the name to represent and mark the accomplishments of Timberline students.
The annual staff is composed of 10th-12th grade Timberline students.
"Cairn is defined as a cone-shaped mass of rock, built as a landmark or monument. Our Cairn is a landmark marking the trail blazed by the students of Timberline throughout the year." -1970-71 Annual Staff
In order to ensure that your student receives a yearbook, orders need to be placed and payments received by the due date. We order a limited number of books to sell at the end of the year, and the price of those books is higher than books that are pre-ordered and paid for by the early order deadline.
For seniors and their families, due to press deadlines we must meet, senior photos and ads must be submitted and approved by the deadlines.
Senior photo requirements
Photos no more than 3.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide (standard wallet). We request that you submit photos in digital format saved as [LASTNAME,FIRSTNAME.jpg] (last name, first name) with the resolution set at 300dpi. Senior photos and quotes should be submitted through the Google form that was sent to seniors' email. If no photo is turned in, we will use the registration photo taken at the beginning of the school year.
Photographers
Photographers that we have worked with in the past that submit digital photos as a service to you and the school: A Smile Like Yours Photography, Alison Merten Photography, Boston Harbor Photography, DelLaCruz Photography, Heartprints Photography, Jennifer Rutledge Photography, Josie Photographics (donates 5% of proceeds to THS yearbook publication), KDA Photography, Mary Hasken Photography, PrestigePortraits by Lifetouch, Rebecca Sue Photography, Studio K Portraits and Taylor Made Photography.
Senior Ads are due on Monday, February 3, 2025. Complete the Google Form below to begin the process. Once the ad is complete, a Google Drive link will be shared for uploads of photos for the ad (or the completed ad if you are creating it yourself). If making your own ad, please submit the ad in PowerPoint (.pptx), Google Slides, Microsoft Publisher (.pub), PDF, JPG/JPEG, or Adobe InDesign (.indd) file.
Upload photos (or fully-completed ad) to the shared folder
Confirm receipt of ad proof and approve for final submission
After you fill out the Google form, a confirmation email will include a link to the Google Drive for uploading photos. When the ad is complete, you'll receive a proof of the ad for final approval prior to the ad being placed in the yearbook.
